1. Open the front door to gain access to the rear door wiring harness connector and disconnect the vehicle wiring harness connector from this connector in the same way as you did when removing the front door (see paragraphs 4–10 "Removing and installing the front door").
2. Remove the screw securing the rear door opening limiter to the body pillar.
