Withdrawal

CAUTION: Do not attempt to clean the throttle body. The bore and butterfly valve have a special coating applied at the factory that should not be removed.
Disconnect the air filter outlet pipe from the throttle body and position it aside.
2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body lever.
- 1. Rotate the throttle body lever.
- 2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body lever.
3. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the appropriate bracket.
- 1. Release the locking tabs.
- 2. Remove the accelerator cable.
4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the battery shelf.
5. Remove the footwell trim panel.
6. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the pedal.
7. To facilitate installation, tie a wire to the accelerator cable that can be pulled on the cable.
8. Remove the accelerator cable.
Installation
1.
NOTE: Before installing the throttle cable into the grommet, the rubber grommet must be inserted into the baffle.
Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
