Special tool

Removal
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding the Cooling System chapter in this section.
2. Disconnect the fan wiring plug.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for additional information.
4. Using the special tool, disconnect the upper hose.
5. Using the special tool, disconnect the lower hose.
6. Disconnect the expansion tank hose.
7. Disconnect and release the horn plug connector.
8. Remove the radiator assembly with the casing.
- Remove the right and left radiator support bracket mounting bolts.
- Remove the radiator assembly with the casing.
9. Remove the radiator shroud.
- 1. Release the casing.
- 2.Remove the radiator shroud.
Installation
1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
3. Fill the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding the Cooling System chapter in this section.
