Removal
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding the Cooling System chapter in this section.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness clamp from the cooling fan housing.

3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for additional information.
4. Disconnect and support the air conditioning condenser.

5. Using the special tool, disconnect the upper radiator hose (for clarity, the electric motor and cooling fan housing are shown in the removed position).

6. Using the special tool, disconnect the coolant hoses (for clarity, the electric motor and cooling fan housing are shown in the removed position).

7. Disconnect the wiring harness clamps from the cooling fan housing.

8. Disconnect the wiring harness clamp from the radiator support bracket.

9. Disconnect the horn(s) plug connector.

10. Remove the radiator support bracket bolts.

NOTE: Support the radiator, cooling fan motor and shroud.
Remove the radiator support bracket.

12. Remove the radiator, cooling fan motor and shroud.

13.
CAUTION: Do not use excessive force to release the cooling fan motor and shroud.
Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud from the radiator.
- 1. Release the clamps.
- 2.Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud from the radiator.

Installation
1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
2. Fill the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding the Cooling System chapter in this section.
