Motor and cooling fan shroud (1.8L/2.0L/1.6L Zetec-E)

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator.

2. Disconnect the electrical connectors for the cooling fan motor.



3. Remove two pins.



4. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.

CAUTION: Do not use excessive force to release the cooling fan motor and shroud.

Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud.

• 1. To allow the cooling fan motor and shroud to lift up, release the top heatsink clips.
• 2.Remove the fan and shroud.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
