Cooling Fan Motor (1.6L Duratec) (Focus 1)

Installation

1. Disconnect the electric cooling fan connector.



2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for additional information.

3. Remove the engine protection.

CAUTION: Do not use excessive force to release the electric cooling fan and its housing.

Disconnect the electric cooling fan and its shroud from the radiator.

• 1. Release the radiator clamps.
• 2.Allow the electric cooling fan and shroud to rise.

CAUTION: Do not use excessive force to release the electric cooling fan and its housing.

Remove the electric cooling fan and its shroud from the radiator.

• 1. Release the radiator clamps.
• 2. Remove the electric cooling fan and the corresponding casing.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
