Removal
1. Remove the electric cooling fan. For more information, refer to the Electric Cooling Fan - 1.6L Duratec chapter in this section.
2. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding the Cooling System chapter in this section.
3. Remove the radiator splash shield.
4. Using suitable clamps, suspend the air conditioning (A/C) condenser.
5. Disconnect the A/C condenser from the radiator.
6. Using the special tool, disconnect the upper radiator hose.
7. Using a special tool, disconnect the radiator hoses.
8. Remove the radiator support bracket mounting bolts.
9.
NOTE: Support the radiator.
Remove the radiator support bracket.
10. Remove the radiator.
Installation
1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
