Electric motor and cooling fan housing (1.6L Zetec-SE/1.4L) (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector of the fan motor.



3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for additional information.

4. Remove the electric motor and casing.

• 1. Release the clamps.
• 2.Remove the electric motor and casing.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
