Special tool

Coolant Hose Clamp Remover/Installer 303-397 (24-003)

Removal

All cars

1. Remove the motor and housing. For more information, refer to the Motor and Housing chapter in this section.

2. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding the Cooling System chapter in this section.

Cars with air conditioning system.

3. Disconnect and support the capacitor.



All cars

4. Using the special tool, disconnect the upper radiator hose.



5. Using the special tool, disconnect the coolant hoses.





6. Disconnect the horn plug.



7. Remove the radiator support bracket bolts.



8. Remove the radiator support bracket.



9. Remove the radiator.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.





3. Fill the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding the Cooling System chapter in this section.
