Expansion tank of the cooling system (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Partially drain the coolant from the cooling system. For more information, refer to the Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding the Cooling System chapter in this section.

2. Disconnect the coolant hoses.



3. Unscrew the expansion tank bolt.



4. Remove the expansion tank. Remove the expansion tank from the holder.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
