TR circuits, abnormal waveform indicated in TR_D. Condition caused by short to ground or open in P/N, D, R, 2 or 1 circuits. Open in tail lamp ground circuit. This DTC may be set by an improperly adjusted TR sensor.

Increase control pressure (hard shifts). Default is set to D for incorrect position.

Check the reverse light ground circuit. Refer to Pinpoint Test C.

P0712

TFT

157°C (315°F) indicates a short to ground in the TFT sensor circuit

The voltage drop across the TFT sensor is too low for the scale set to 157°C (315°F).

There may be a feeling of hardness when shifting.

P0713

TFT

-40°C (-40°F) indicates an open circuit in the TFT sensor

The voltage drop across the TFT sensor is too high for a scale set to -40°C (-40°F).

There may be a feeling of hardness when shifting.

TSS

Insufficient input from turbine shaft speed sensor

The PCM module detected a loss of TSS signal during operation.

Harsh shifting, no torque converter clutch engagement and harsh engagement.

The PCM module detected a loss of TSS signal during operation.

SSA circuit does not provide voltage drop across solenoid. Open or short circuit in circuit or PCM driver error during OBD.

KOEO/KOER does not work in PARK or NEUTRAL position; or TR circuit error.

Hard shifting or engagement.

TFT

Stuck in the middle of the range.

The PCM never detects a change in the working fluid temperature.

Single hard shifts.

TFT

TFT out of on-board diagnostic range

The transmission is not at operating temperature during on-board diagnostics.

DTC code set - vehicle cold or overheated.

Warm up or cool down the vehicle to normal operating temperature. Refer to Pinpoint Test B.

No change in TFT - low range

The PCM module did not detect any changes in the TFT in the low range during operation.

Incorrect moments of TSS engagement, hard engagement, hard shifting.

The RCM module did not detect any changes in the TFT in the high range during operation.

The voltage passing through the EPC solenoid is checked. An error is registered if the tolerance is exceeded.
