TR sensor.

TR circuit malfunction

TR chains, incorrect curve shape in TR_D is indicated. Condition due to short circuit on "mass" or an open in the P/N, D, R, 2 or 1 circuits "weight" rear light. This DTC may be set by an incorrectly adjusted TR sensor.

Increase control pressure (hard switching). Default is set to D for incorrect position.

Check the connection circuit with "weight" reversing lamp. Refer to Pinpoint Test C.

P0712

TFT

157°C (315°F) indicates a closure to "mass" TFT sensor circuits

The voltage drop across the TFT sensor is too low for the scale set to 157°C (315°F).

There may be a feeling of hardness when switching.

P0713

TFT

-40°C (-40°F) indicates an open TFT sensor circuit

The voltage drop across the TFT sensor is too high for a scale set to -40°C (-40°F).

There may be a feeling of hardness when switching.

TSS

Insufficient input from turbine shaft speed sensor

The PCM has detected a loss of TSS signal during operation.

Hard shifts, lack of torque converter clutch activation and hard engagement.

Intermittent signal of the turbine shaft speed sensor

The PCM has detected a loss of TSS signal during operation.

The PCM has detected a chaotic TSS sensor signal

The PCM has detected loss of OSS signal during operation.

Rigid switching, possibly abnormal distribution of switching times.

2nd gear error

No 2nd gear.

The SSA circuit does not provide a voltage drop in parallel with the electromagnet. Open or short circuit or PCM driver error during OBD.

TR is not in PARK or NEUTRAL during KOEO/KOER.

KOEO/KOER does not work in PARK or NEUTRAL; or TR circuit error.

Hard shifts or engagement.

Refer to Pinpoint Test C. Perform KOEO/KOER again in PARK or NEUTRAL.

TFT

Jamming in the middle of the range.

The PCM never detects a change in fluid temperature.

Single hard switches.

TFT out of OBD range

Transmission not at operating temperature during OBD.

DTC set - vehicle cold or overheated.

Warm up or cool down the vehicle to normal operating temperature. Refer to Pinpoint Test B.

The PCM did not detect low range TFT changes during operation.

Incorrect moments of engagement of the TSS, hard engagement, hard shifts.

The voltage passing through the EPC solenoid is checked. An error is logged when the tolerance is exceeded.

Opening the circuit results in maximum EPC pressure, hard engagement and shifting.

The voltage passing through the EPC solenoid is checked. An error is logged when the tolerance is exceeded.

Incorrect TCS voltage

There is no overdrive cancellation when the lever is moved.

Transmission fluid temperature exceeded 135°C (275°F).

Increase control pressure.
