Simultaneously press buttons 10 on the microclimate control unit (see fig. 12.5) and 13 for no more than 2 s, then press button 15 within 1.5 s. The on-board diagnostics that has begun will last for several seconds. At this time, animated information is displayed on the display 5 of the microclimate control unit. All detected faults are displayed on both halves of the display as fault codes. For example, the left half of the display shows "90", the right half shows "B3" - the fault code read is 90B3 (short circuit of the electrical circuit of the air temperature sensor supplied through the right air ducts of the instrument panel - short to ground). In table. 12.1 shows the codes of possible malfunctions and their interpretation.

When button 4 is pressed, the information in the fault code memory is erased and the diagnostic mode ends. To exit the diagnostic mode without erasing the trouble codes, press any other button on the microclimate control unit.
