Replacing the cabin air filter

            0

The manufacturer prescribes to replace the cabin filter of the heating and air conditioning system after 20 thousand kilometers or every 2 years (whichever comes first).

The filter cover is located at the bottom of the dashboard console on the driver's side.

You will need: a screwdriver with a Phillips blade, a "10" wrench.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove the throttle pedal (refer to Removing and Installing the Throttle Pedal).

3. Remove the three screws securing the filter cover.

4. Remove cover..

5….and remove the filter element.

NOTE: A special cabin air filter is installed at the factory and must be cut open when replacing. The service-installed cabin air filter is flexible and can be folded up for removal and installation.

6. Install a new filter element in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Arrows are marked on the side of the filter element. When installed, they must be oriented in the direction of air movement.
