The filter cover is located at the bottom of the instrument panel console on the driver's side.
You will need: a Phillips-head screwdriver and a 10 mm spanner.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the throttle pedal (see Removing and installing the throttle pedal).

3. Remove the three screws securing the filter cover.

4. Remove the cover…

5….and remove the filter element.
NOTE: The factory-installed cabin air filter is a special filter that must be cut when replacing. The service-installed cabin air filter is flexible and can fold during removal and installation.

6. Install the new filter element in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: There are arrows on the side surface of the filter element. When installing, they must be oriented in the direction of air flow.
