Removing and installing the throttle control pedal

The throttle control pedal is removed for replacement when it fails.

You will need a socket head "10".

NOTE: For clarity, operation is shown with the instrument panel and steering column bracket removed.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.



2. Squeeze the clamps of the throttle pedal harness block..



3.... and disconnect the block from the pedal outputs.



4. Unscrew the three nuts securing the throttle control pedal to the bulkhead..



5….and remove the pedal from the studs.

NOTE: Pay attention to the markings on the pedal.

Get a new pedal with the same markings.



6. Install the throttle control pedal in the reverse order of removal.
