General view — EEC-V injection system control

Fuel system:

• sequential fuel injection (SF1)
• injection valves with four holes

Air suction system:

• air quantity meter (MAF sensor); works on the principle of a hot-wire wire mass air flow meter

Ignition system:

• integrated electronic ignition system (EI) (EDIS module integrated into EEC-V)

Safety system:

• mechanical switch on the side wall in front of the passenger door next to the driver

Exhaust gas regulation:

• adjustable catalytic converter (TWC). installed in a pipeline branch; flanged directly to the exhaust manifold
• heated lambda probe (HO2S), installed in the exhaust manifold
• vapor recovery system (EVAP)

Diagnostic options:

• central diagnostic socket (DLC); in the leg area behind the side trim of the left A-pillar
• diagnostics with FDS 2000 and intermediate communication processor module (CPU)
