Disassembly of nozzles

Direct wear occurs inside the nozzle, in the needle, in the nozzle body and compression springs. There you have little room for correction, unless you have an injector tester with which you can crimp the injector, recognize the jet pattern and correct the injection pressure. In most all cases, it is better to completely replace the nozzles.

If, nevertheless, you must disassemble the nozzle, then do not leave its insides open for a long time on the machine: the surfaces of the needles of the nozzles and the body, machined with high precision, are extremely sensitive to dust and rust deposits. Insert new injectors into the cylinder head only with new O-rings. The tightening torque for the injector body is 24 Nm.
