The actual wear is inside the injector, in the needle, in the injector body and the pressure springs. There is little room for improvement unless you have an injector tester with which you can tighten the injector, read the spray pattern and adjust the injection pressure. In most cases, it is better to replace the injectors completely.
If you must disassemble the injector, do not leave its insides lying open on the machine for a long time: the surfaces of the injector needles and housing, processed with high precision, are extremely sensitive to dust and rust. Insert new injectors into the cylinder head only with new sealing rings. The tightening torque of the injector housing is 24 Nm.
