Pulse sensor wheel and angle sensor (Focus Turnier 1)

            0

In order for each cylinder to receive its specific portion of fuel in the right sequence and at the right time, the pulse sensor wheel and the angle sensor function to some extent as a distributor. The pulse sensor wheel is connected directly to the pump drive shaft, the angle sensor is rigidly connected to the roller ring. As soon as the solenoid valve begins to control the injection regulator, the roller ring turns and with it the angle sensor in the direction of "advance" or "retard". In the pulse sensor wheel there is a gap in the teeth for each cylinder. The angle sensor constantly feels the toothed wheel and sends the received information to the PCU.

Its signals are the basis for the current angular position of the crankshaft, the current number of revolutions of the injection pump and the adjustment of the start of injection.
