If a coolant hose bursts while driving, temporarily seal the leak with adhesive tape. While driving, constantly monitor the engine temperature indicator and do not take any risks with the temperature. As spare parts, buy only original hoses, as they are guaranteed to fit and do not harden after a short time; you should also take a good look at the hose clamps - replace any that are rusty.

Drain the coolant into a container.

Loosen the hose clamps and remove the hoses.

Loosen tightly seated hose ends with a screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver between the hose and the fitting and then carefully pry away from each connected fitting.

Install new hoses with Vaseline and push them far enough onto the fittings so that they cannot slip off while driving.
