Dismantling the radiator

Raise the front of the vehicle securely. Disconnect the battery ground wire (terminal 31) and wire connectors on the fan motor. Disconnect the wire from the guide.

Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a container.

Remove the upper radiator hose.

Remove the bottom hose.

Disconnect the ventilation hose.

Disconnect the connector to the horn horn.

Unscrew the bolts on the right and left radiator bracket (arrows).



Remove the heatsink with fan shroud.

Remove the fan shroud on the radiator as described.

Remove the fan cover from the clips.

Remove the fan cover.

Before installation, check the rubber nozzles on the fan for damage and age cracks. Rub rubber fittings lightly with petroleum jelly.

Insert the heatsink assembly. Important: The fixing tabs must be inserted correctly.

Tighten the radiator brackets to 25 Nm.

Complete installation in reverse order.
