Blow the dust out of the filter element from the bottom upwards. If you change the direction, the dust will be pressed even deeper into the filter pores.
Never wash the paper filter with liquids. Otherwise, the filter pores will become hopelessly clogged. As a result, engine power will drop and exhaust characteristics will deteriorate sharply.
When installing the filter element, always ensure that the sealing surfaces fit snugly against the housing parts.
Cleaning process: Always blow through the filter element from the bottom up. If damage to the filter film is detected, always replace the insert
