- Before using a new filter element, clean the filter housing and cover with a lint-free cloth or blow with compressed air. Make sure that the seal of the new filter is tight around the surface.

Cleaning the filter element

- Carefully knock out the filter element on a hard base. In this way, large dust particles can be removed.
- Fine dust particles should be blown out with compressed air.
— Blow out the element only from the rear side upwards. If you change direction, the dust will be even more firmly pressed into the pores of the filter.
- Never clean the paper filter with a liquid that will hopelessly clog the pores of the filter. Consequence: the engine power is reduced, the parameters of the exhaust gas are significantly worsened. - Before installing the filter element, make sure that the sealing surfaces fit snugly against the body parts.
Cleaner action: Always blow through the filter element from the bottom up. If damage is found on the film filter, replace the filter immediately. |
