- ...short-circuit the current-supplying contact in the engine compartment with the ground contact in the connector. This removes the thermal switch from the electrical circuit. Turn on the fan switch, the thermal switch is considered defective there. If it does not work, then there is either a break in the wiring or a defect in the fan itself.
- Before the final repair, clamp the jumper wire tightly. And to prevent the clamped wire from getting under the fan blades, fix its end with adhesive tape in a suitable place.
