Removal and installation of thermal screens

During engine operation, the exhaust system heats up to a high temperature. Therefore, in case of severe mechanical damage or significant corrosion of thermal screens, be sure to replace them. In addition to reducing the level of comfort in the cabin, a malfunction of the thermal screens can lead to a fire in the thermal and sound insulation of the floor of the body.

You will need a socket «on 10».

1. Remove the two front nuts securing the front thermal shield.



2. Turn away two nuts of fastening of thermoscreens in an average part of a body and remove a forward thermoscreen.



3. Turn off two nuts of fastening in a back part of a body …



4.... and remove the rear thermal screen.

5. Install thermal screens in reverse order.
