1. Place the vehicle on an inspection pit or lift.
2. Unscrew the two nuts securing the intake pipe flange to the exhaust manifold flange…
3. …and remove the intake pipe flange from the studs.
4. Unscrew the eight nuts…
5. ...and remove the body cross member.
6. Use a screwdriver to pry the cushion off the front bracket of the additional muffler.
7. Similarly, remove the remaining cushions from the exhaust system suspension brackets..
8. …and remove the mufflers, carefully leading them out through the opening between the base of the body and the rear suspension beam.
9. Install the mufflers in the reverse order of removal.
