You can purchase new filter inserts for your Focus from a contract dealer or a hardware store. However, this does not always have to be an original spare part, but still be sure to pay attention to the quality of the goods. In addition, low-quality foreign products are sold at junctions in related goods stores. Maybe at the moment you will save money, but in the future the engine will pay you back for greed - it will inhale more dirt particles and wear out ahead of time.
Stages of work
Remove the 4 air filter cover mounting bolts.
Remove the cover and take out the filter element.

Before installing a new filter element, wipe the filter housing and cover with a lint-free cloth or blow with compressed air. Make sure that the gaskets of the new filter insert lie flat against the pressure surfaces of the filter housing.
