Removing the radiator fan (Focus Turnier 1)

Securely raise the front of the vehicle. Disconnect the battery ground cable (terminal 31) and the multi-pin connectors (arrows) at the defective blower motor.

Loosen the mounting clips at the top of the radiator.



First, lift the fan with the support slightly and press it out of the support. Then, remove it from the engine compartment together with the trim.

Remove the fan motor (three bolts on the air duct).

Remove the fan blades from the fan motor shaft. First mark the position of the fan blades relative to the shaft.

Install the new motor in reverse order.
