Removing the radiator fan

Raise the front of the vehicle securely. Disconnect the battery ground wire (terminal 31) and multi-pin connectors (arrows) on a defective fan motor.

Loosen the mounting clips at the top of the heatsink.



First, slightly lift the fan with the support and press it out of the support. Then, together with the lining, remove from the engine compartment.

Remove the fan motor (three bolts on the duct).

Remove the fan blades from the fan motor shaft. Pre-mark the position of the fan blades in relation to the shaft.

Install the new engine in reverse order.
