The gearbox is a three-shaft, classic design, has five synchronized gears for forward movement (4th gear is direct) and a synchronized reverse gear. The gearbox is installed along the vehicle axis behind the engine. The gear shift lever is installed on the vehicle floor. It has been installed on vehicles since October 1988.
