Piston pins and connecting rods — check

Piston pins are installed in heated connecting rods.

Typically, piston pins are replaced when the pistons are replaced.

The connecting rods are not subject to wear during engine operation, however, in some cases, such as engine jamming, they can be deformed. This can be seen visually, but if in doubt, the connecting rods can be checked and replaced if necessary.
