Checking the valve guides

1. Worn valve guides do not align the valves in their seats, resulting in a significant increase in fuel and oil consumption.

2. Check the inside diameters of the valve guides. If the values exceed the maximum allowable value, the valve guide must be replaced by a specialist workshop.

Attention! Replacing the guide also requires regrinding the corresponding valve seat.
