Power steering pump type "p"
1. Clean the outside of the pump.
2. Secure the pump in a vice with soft jaws by the body, with the drive shaft facing down.
3. Remove the stud, fitting and sealing ring from the rear of the pump.
4. Remove the tank and O-rings from the body.

5. Insert the rod into the hole in the pump body located opposite the flow control valve, compress the flange retaining ring, and use a screwdriver to remove the retaining ring.

6. Remove the flange (1), pressure spring (2) and sealing ring.
7. Remove the pump from the vice, turn it over and remove the flow valve and spring.
8. Remove the retaining ring from the shaft and take out the shaft.
9. Remove the pump ring, blades, rotor and flange.
10. Remove the two guides and the drive shaft seal ring.

11. Remove and clean the magnet (indicated by the arrow), after marking its position.
12. Rinse and clean all pump parts.
13. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, and the following steps must be performed.
14. Install only a new drive shaft sealing ring.

15. Install the sealing ring of the pressure flange into the third groove (indicated by the arrow) on the rear side of the housing.
16. Check that the guides fit into the holes of the clamping flange.

17. The arrows on the pump ring must point upwards.
18. Install the flange sealing ring into the second groove on the housing. Before installing the sealing rings, they must be lubricated with oil.

1. Clean the outside of the pump.
2. Remove the two tank mounting clamps and the tank from the pump body.
3. Remove the fitting, valve and spring.
4. Remove the flange from the pump drive shaft.
5. Remove the bearing retaining ring, remove the drive shaft and bearing from the pump. Remove the drive shaft sealing ring from the pump housing.
6. Remove the flange retaining ring by squeezing it with a suitable rod. Press the center of the flange with a 13 mm diameter rod from the drive shaft side and push the flange out. Remove the flange sealing ring.
7. Remove the bushing from the pump.
8. Rinse and clean all pump parts.
9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, and the following steps must be performed.
10. Check that the guides fit into the holes of the clamping flange.
11. The splined end of the rotor must face upward.
12. The drive shaft flange is installed by screwing a bolt and washer into the shaft, which will press the flange onto the shaft.
13. Before installing the sealing rings, they must be lubricated with oil. Install only new sealing rings.
