Replacing the steering gear protective covers (Scorpio 1)

1. Remove the tie rod end from the appropriate side.



2. Loosen the clamps (indicated by arrows) securing the protective cover and pull the cover along the steering rod.

3. Before installing a new cover, apply a thin layer of grease to the steering rack, install the new protective cover and secure with clamps.
