Bleeding the Power Steering System (Scorpio 1)

            0

1. Unscrew the oil filler plug for the power steering system and check the oil level in the system (with cold oil). If necessary, top up the oil to the required level.

Caution! Add oil slowly. Do not shake the container to avoid air bubbles forming in the tank.

2. Disconnect the negative wire (terminal "1") from the ignition coil.

3. Turn on the starter several times (each time for about 2 seconds), while simultaneously turning the steering wheel from lock to lock and adding oil all the time (the help of another person is required) until the oil level in the tank stabilizes and until the moment when air bubbles stop coming out of the oil.

4. Check the oil level, top up if necessary and tighten the plug.

5. Connect the electrical wire to the ignition coil.

6. Perform a test drive and after stopping the vehicle, check the tightness of the power steering system connections.

7. Finally check the oil level in the reservoir with the power steering oil heated.
