Front brake

Attention! It is recommended to replace all front brake pads at the same time if at least one of them is worn to the minimum thickness.
1. Loosen the front wheel mounting nuts.
2. Raise and secure the front of the vehicle, remove the front wheels.
3. Carefully pry up the bracket (indicated by the arrow) securing the brake caliper with a screwdriver and remove it.
4. Using a 7 mm Allen key, unscrew the two guide pins (arrow) of the caliper.
5. Disconnect the brake pad wear sensor wire connectors.
6. Disconnect the caliper from the holder and hang it to the body using wire (without unscrewing the brake hose connection).
7. Remove the inner brake pad from the caliper and the outer brake pad from the guide pads.
8. Carefully press the piston into the caliper using a suitable wooden rod, being careful not to damage the elastic piston casing. If necessary, you can first remove some brake fluid from the reservoir.
9. Check the condition of the brake disc and the elastic piston casing.

10. Install the inner brake shoe (arrow on the left) into the caliper and press the spring (arrow on the right) of the inner shoe into the piston.
11. Install the outer brake shoe into the caliper guide.
12. Install the caliper into the guide and screw in the two caliper guide pins, tightening them to a torque of 20 Nm.
13. Install the brake caliper mounting bracket in the appropriate place.
14. Replace the brake pads in the second front brake in the same way.
15. Install the wheels, lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel nuts.
16. Press the brake pedal hard several times to bring the brake pads into contact with the brake disc.
17. If necessary, add brake fluid to the reservoir.
