Replacing the front brake disc

Attention! The discs of both front brakes must have the same thickness and surface condition, only then both wheels will be braked at the same time. Therefore, it is recommended to replace both disks at the same time.


Withdrawal



1. Remove brake pads (see subsection 11.2.1).

2. Hang the caliper to the body with a wire to protect the brake hose from damage.

3. Unscrew the caliper holder from the wheel knuckle.

4. Remove the brake disc screw from the wheel hub and remove the brake disc.

Installation





1. Install the brake disc and tighten the screw securing it to the wheel hub (the arrow indicates the spring adjusting ring for mounting the brake disc).

2. Screw the caliper holder to the wheel knuckle.

3. Install brake pads and caliper (see subsection 11.2.1).

4. Install the wheels, lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel nuts.

5. Press the brake pedal hard several times to bring the brake pads into contact with the brake disc.
