Examination
Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on stands. Remove the relevant front wheel.
Temporarily screw on 2 wheel mounting bolts diagonally. Install the nuts with the flat side facing the brake disc.
Clean the disc from corrosion and check it for wear and defects. Using a micrometer, check the thickness of the disc (see Fig. 9.18).

Using a dial indicator, check the runout of the brake disc. It is checked at a distance of 10 mm from the outer edge of the disc (see Fig. 9.19).

Removal
Remove the caliper and bracket without disconnecting the brake hose. Using soft wire, hang the caliper from the front strut. Unscrew the 2 wheel mounting nuts that were screwed on when checking the disk.
Unscrew the screw securing the brake disc to the hub and remove the disc.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
