WARNING: Vehicles equipped with a catalytic converter should not be towed or pushed to start the engine. This may cause the converter to overheat and fail. If the battery is discharged, do not attempt to tow or push the vehicle to start the engine.

To tow your vehicle (or use it as a towing vehicle), attach the tow rope only to the designated locations on the front and rear of the vehicle.

Before towing your vehicle, set the ignition key to position "0" and turn on the warning lights in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulations. Set the manual transmission control lever (automatic transmission selector lever) to neutral (position "N"). If possible, tow the vehicle with the engine running so that the force on the steering wheel and brake pedal does not increase.

WARNING: The brake booster and power steering only operate when the engine is running. Therefore, keep in mind that when towing a vehicle with the engine off, the force on the brake pedal and steering wheel increases sharply.
