If you cannot find or repair the problem, use a towing vehicle to get to your home or the nearest workshop. If you have made such a decision, then it is useful for you to know the following:

For towing, use a suitable towing cable - it is not so expensive. During towing, in accordance with the Rules of the Road, the side lights must be turned on on the towed machine, and the headlights on the towing vehicle.

When towing, turn the ignition key to the on position so that the steering column does not lock and the direction indicators and brake light work.

Attach the tow rope only to the eyelets designed specifically for this.

Before towing, release the handbrake and place the transmission in neutral.

Be aware that braking will require more pedal effort than normal because the vacuum booster only works when the engine is running.

Models with power steering will also require more steering force.

The driver of the vehicle being towed must keep the tow cable taut at all times. Before starting the movement, agree with the driver of the towing vehicle about the route of movement.

The towing vehicle must drive at a moderate speed, move off and brake smoothly, and start decelerating long before intersections. The towing distance must be kept to a minimum.

On models with automatic transmission, take extra care not to damage the transmission. If you doubt the correctness of your actions, it is better to refuse towing.
