When going on a long journey, take the following additionally.
1. Additional set of tools:
- a big hammer;
– screwdrivers with flat and Phillips blades in three sizes: small, medium and large (power);
- chisel;
- a set of heads from "8" to "32" with extensions, a handle, a ratchet and a cardan;
– set of TORX T type keys;
– a brake bleeder key and a thin hose 15–20 cm long;
- center punch;
- hacksaw for metal;
- a file with medium-sized notches;
- additional mounting blade;
- clamp;
- a skein of knitting wire;
- oil and petrol resistant sealant;
- several screw clamps of different diameters;
- a piece of emery cloth.
2. Jack stand - wooden block 40x250x250 mm. Stand (type "goat") for working under the car.
3. Canister of motor oil.
4. Antifreeze canister – 1 l (in winter – 5 l).
5. Power steering oil top-up – 1 l.
6. Oil for adding to the gearbox – 1 liter.
7. Bottle of brake fluid – 0.5 l.
8. Tube of Litol-24 lubricant.
9. Canister with 10 liters of gasoline.
10. A special funnel for the fuel tank neck, which has a narrowing that prevents filling with leaded gasoline.
11. Hose for transferring gasoline.
12. Special kit for repairing tubeless tires without dismounting or wheel sealant.
13. Windscreen wiper blades.
14. Tested thermostat.
15. Tested temperature sensor.
16. Set of spare brake pads.
17. Brake hoses (there are hoses of different sizes on the car, have one of each size).
18. A pair of wheel mounting nuts and studs.
19. A box with bolts, nuts and washers (2–3 pcs. from M5 to M10), as well as cotter pins.
20. In winter – glass de-icer and "liquid key" for locks.
21. Reinforced tape for repairing hoses.
22. A flashlight with batteries or accumulators and a spare set of batteries for it.
23. Matches, hatchet.
24. Strong rope or cord.
25. Work gloves.
26. Some work clothes.
27. Hand cleaner.
28. Mat for working under the car.
29. A soft pencil (a felt-tip pen will do), several sheets of paper or a notebook.
