When starting to repair or service electrical equipment, first be sure to disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
When performing electric welding work, disconnect the wires from the battery and generator, as well as the pads with wires from the electronic engine control unit!
WARNING: If your car is equipped with a coded radio, disconnecting the wire from the battery terminal will disable the radio and require entering the code to turn it on again. The code for the radio is on the card supplied with the car.
When coasting, do not turn off the ignition, otherwise the anti-theft device in the ignition switch may be activated, blocking the steering column shaft. Your car may become uncontrollable!
Gasoline, antifreeze and antifreeze are toxic, so take precautions when filling your vehicle with technical fluids.
There are two catalytic converters installed in the exhaust system (one for the exhaust gases of the 1st and 2nd cylinders, the second for the exhaust gases of the 3rd and 4th cylinders). When the engine is running, they heat up to a temperature of over 600°C, so to avoid a fire when parking, make sure that there is no dry grass or flammable materials under the bottom of the car.
It is prohibited to operate the vehicle with the low oil pressure warning light on: it should light briefly (for no more than 2 seconds) only when the engine is started. This also applies to the low battery warning light, as sometimes it can be caused by a short circuit in the wiring, leading to a fire in the engine compartment of the vehicle.
Do not work under a car raised with a jack. Be sure to place reliable supports under the body.
Smoking and using open flames when refueling and servicing the vehicle are prohibited.
It is prohibited to check the operation of the generator by disconnecting the wires from the battery, and the functionality of the ignition system "for a spark".
When jacking up the vehicle, be sure to engage the parking brake and place suitable chocks under the wheels on the opposite side.
