NOTE: The front seat belt replacement is shown using the driver's seat belt as an example. The front passenger seat belt is replaced in the same way.
You will need a TORX T50 key.
1. The seat belts are equipped with pretensioners, so disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
WARNING: After disconnecting the wire from the negative terminal of the battery, you must wait at least 10 minutes before you can begin removing the seat belt equipped with a pretensioner.
WARNING: Do not disassemble the seat belt pretensioners.
WARNING: Do not allow the seat belt buckles with pretensioners to fall or come into contact with water or oil.
WARNING: Do not expose seat belt pretensioners to temperatures above 95°C.

2. Remove the screw of the lower seat belt mount.

NOTE: There is a spacer sleeve installed on the screw, do not lose it.
3. Remove both parts of the center pillar trim (see "Removing and installing interior trim").

4. Loosen the upper belt fastening screw and disconnect the belt buckle from the belt height adjustment unit housing.

NOTE: There is a flat washer on the screw, do not lose it.

5. Remove the B-pillar trim upper retainer.
NOTE: The two lower bracket retaining pins were removed during the lower B-pillar trim removal process.

6. Loosen the screw that secures the unit to adjust the height of the belt…

7. …and remove the adjustment unit by moving its locks upwards from the rack grooves.

8. Remove the inertia reel mounting screw…

9. …and remove the coil from the body pillar.

10. To remove the front seat belt buckle, you must remove the seat from the vehicle (see "Removing and installing the front seat"), since when the seat is installed, there is no access to the seat belt pretensioner wiring harness connectors and harness holders on the base of the seat cushion.

11. Place the seat on its side and, using a screwdriver, press the lock…

12. …disconnect the pink one from the common block…

13. …and the yellow pretensioner wire block.

14. Remove the pretensioner wires from the three holders located at the bottom of the seat cushion base.

NOTE: This is how the wire holders are located on the seat cushion base.

15. Remove the screw securing the seat belt buckle to the seat…

16. …and remove the lock.
17. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
