Valve cover — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the spark plug connectors (for clarity, the engine is shown removed).



2. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose (PCV) from the cylinder head cover.



3. Disconnect the plug connector of the electronic ignition unit (EI).



4. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.



5. Remove the cylinder head cover. Disconnect the bracket for the supply and return fuel lines from the cylinder head cover.

Installation

1.

NOTE: Install a new cylinder head cover gasket if necessary.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
