Carbon filter purge valve for fuel vapor control (Duratec)

Withdrawal

WARNING: Do not smoke or walk with a lit cigarette or any type of open flame while working on or near fuel related items. There are always highly flammable mixtures that can ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. See Section 414-01 for more information.

2. Disconnect the plug connector of the carbon filter cleaning valve of the fuel vapor control system.



3. Disconnect the vacuum control line from the carbon filter cleaning valve.



4. Disconnect the fuel vapor hoses from the carbon filter cleaning valve.



5. Remove the carbon filter cleaning valve.

Installation
