Carbon filter purge valve for fuel vapor control system

Withdrawal

1.

WARNING: Do not smoke or walk with a lit cigarette or any type of open flame while working on or near fuel related items. There are always highly flammable mixtures that can ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

2. Disconnect the charcoal filter valve electrical connector.



3. Disconnect the vacuum hose and fuel vapor hose from the carbon filter cleaning valve.



4. Remove the carbon filter cleaning valve.

Installation

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
