Air filter — removal and installation

Removal

All cars

1. Disconnect the upper clamp on the air cleaner outlet pipe.



Except for vehicles with diesel engines

2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.



Cars with diesel engines

3. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.



All cars

4. Disconnect the breather pipe.



5. Remove the air filter.

Installation

1.

NOTE: Make sure the three locating pins on the air cleaner housing are inserted into the rubber grommets on the support bracket. Make sure the air cleaner housing is connected to the air cleaner intake manifold.

Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
