Air filter — removal and installation

Withdrawal

All cars

1. Disconnect the top clamp on the air filter outlet pipe.



Excluding vehicles with diesel engines

2. Disconnect the electrical connector of the mass air flow sensor (MAF).



Vehicles with diesel engines

3. Disconnect the electrical connector of the air intake temperature sensor (IAT).



All cars

4. Disconnect the breather line.



5. Remove the air filter.

Installation

NOTE: Make sure the three dowel pins on the air filter housing are inserted into the rubber grommets on the support bracket. Make sure the air filter housing is connected to the air filter inlet pipe.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
