Removal
WARNING: Do not smoke or carry a lighted cigarette or open flame of any kind when working with or near fuel-related items. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For additional information, refer to Section 414-01.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for additional information.
3. Disconnect the fuel tank fuel vapor hose from the carbon canister.
4. Disconnect the fuel vapor control system cleaning line from the charcoal canister.
5. Remove the carbon filter.
- Disconnect the clamp and lift up the EVAP canister to remove.
Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
