Removal
1. Disconnect the instrument cluster socket (the steering wheel is not shown).
2. Remove the instrument cluster socket.
- Disconnect the rear tailgate release switch electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the information and message center.
- 1. Remove the screw.
- 2. Release the clamp.
4. Remove the Information and Message Center.
- To remove the information and message center, move the electrical connector retaining tab to the side.
Installation
1.
NOTE: Before connecting the connector, make sure the electrical connector locking bar is pushed forward as far as it will go. Before installing the information and message center, make sure the electrical connector locking bar is in the locked position.
To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
