Message center — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the instrument panel socket (steering wheel not shown).



2. Remove a nest of a guard of devices.

• Disconnect the tailgate release switch electrical connector.

3. Disconnect the information and message center.

• 1. Remove the screw.
• 2. Release the clip.

4. Remove the information and message center.

• To remove the information and message center, move aside the locking bar of the electrical connector.

Installation

1.

NOTE: Before connecting the connector, make sure that the electrical connector locking bar is pushed all the way forward. Before installing the information and message center, make sure that the electrical connector locking bar is in the locked position.

To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
