Combination of oil pressure and oil temperature indicators (Duratec ST 2.0 l) (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Section 414-01 for additional information.

2. Disconnect the instrument cluster socket (the steering wheel is not shown).

• Remove the mounting screws and detach the mounting clamps.

3. Remove the instrument cluster socket.

• Disconnect the rear tailgate release switch electrical connector.

4. Remove the oil pressure and oil temperature cluster from the instrument panel.

• Remove the mounting screw and detach the mounting clamp.

CAUTION: The oil pressure and oil temperature cluster must be kept in an upright position to prevent silicone fluid from leaking out of the gauges.

Disconnect the electrical connector for the oil pressure and oil temperature cluster.

Installation

1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
