The oil pressure is checked on a hot engine (oil temperature 80°C) in the following order. Disconnect the wire of the emergency oil pressure sensor and unscrew the sensor. Connect a control pressure gauge in its place.
Start the engine and check the oil pressure at idle and at crankshaft speeds above 2000 rpm. Disconnect the pressure gauge, screw in the emergency oil pressure sensor and connect the wire to it. To avoid poor electrical contact, do not install the sensor on sealant.
