Instrument panel (Duratec ST 2.0 l) — removal and installation

Withdrawal

NOTE: When installing a new instrument panel, connect the WDS. Download the instrument cluster configuration information using the programmable module installer before removing the instrument cluster.

1. Disconnect the wire "masses" from the battery. See Section 414-01 for more information.

2. Disconnect the instrument panel socket (steering wheel not shown).

• Turn out screws of fastening and disconnect clips of fastening.

3. Remove a nest of a guard of devices.

• Disconnect the tailgate release switch electrical connector.

4. Disconnect the instrument panel.



5. Disconnect the electrical connector for instrument panel illumination.

CAUTION: The instrument panel must be held in a vertical position to prevent silicone fluid from leaking from the instruments.

Remove the instrument panel.

• 1. Release the locking tab.
• 2. Disconnect the instrument panel electrical connector.

Installation

NOTE: When installing a new instrument panel, connect the WDS. Download the instrument cluster configuration information using the firmware installer after the instrument cluster is installed.

1. Reinstall all elements in reverse order.
