Removal
1. Loosen the wheel nuts.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for additional information.
3. Remove the wheel.
4. Disconnect the parking brake cable.
- 1.Pull back the parking brake lever.
- 2. Disconnect the cable from the parking brake lever.
- 3.Remove the cable sheath clamp.
- 4. Disconnect the cable and cable sheath.

CAUTION: Secure the caliper to the side to avoid damaging the brake hose.
Disconnect the caliper.

6. Remove the brake pads.

Installation
1.
CAUTION: If the pistons are retracted into the housing, brake fluid may be forced out of the master cylinder.
Using a special tool, push the caliper piston all the way in.

2. Install the brake pads.

3.
NOTE: Make sure the brake shoe springs are positioned correctly on the caliper.
Install the caliper.

4. Connect the parking brake cable.
- 1. Install the cable and cable sheath in the required position.
- 2. Install the cable clamp.
- 3.Pull back the parking brake lever.
- 4.Connect the cable to the parking brake lever.

5. Install the wheels.
